Celebrating Camino Nuevo's 25th Anniversary

Dear Camino Nuevo Familia,

For the 2025–2026 school year, we are honored and excited to celebrate a truly special milestone—Camino Nuevo Charter Academy’s 25th Anniversary.

For the past 25 years, Camino Nuevo has remained rooted in one powerful mission: to empower our students to become literate, critical thinkers, independent problem solvers, and agents of social justice. This year, we reflect on a legacy of resilience, growth, and the profound impact made by every student, alumnus, parent, and staff member who has been part of our journey - 25 Years of Bridging Classroom and Community. 

As part of this celebration, we’re proud to introduce a refreshed Camino Nuevo Charter Academy logo, along with a special 25th anniversary edition. This updated design reflects who we are: our commitment to community, to multiple pathways to success, and to a whole-child approach that ensures every student feels seen and supported. While our look has evolved, we’ve stayed true to our roots. The shield remains central to our design, symbolizing the strength of our legacy and the brightness of our future.

We’re also thrilled to announce our newest organizational anchor: Belonging.

This anchor has been years in the making. With leadership from our Equity Working Group and insights from across our campuses, Belonging has emerged as a critical priority in our commitment to equity and inclusion. Now, we’re making it official by naming it one of our anchor values. Belonging means building a culture where every student, staff member, parent, and stakeholder feels welcomed, heard, respected, and valued. It’s how we ensure that everyone at Camino knows they are a vital part of our community.

As we honor 25 years of impact, we also look ahead—to the next chapter of growth, service, and possibility.
