Director of Special Education

As the Director of Special Education, Griselda is responsible for direct administrative supervision over all services and programs associated with the education of students with disabilities. The work includes, but is not limited to, instructional oversight and support, compliance oversight, special education staff oversight, and also functions as a liaison between LAUSD, outside agencies, and parents and families. Prior to joining the leadership at CNCA, she worked as the School Psychologist for five LAUSD high schools located in the East Los Angeles area. In 2010, she joined CNCA as the School Psychologist and in 2012 became the Lead School Psychologist responsible for providing supervision and training to CNCA School Psychologists.

Griselda completed her Bachelor of Arts at California State University Los Angeles and a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Psychology with a Pupil Services Credential at Loyola Marymount University.
