Summer @ CNCA: A Summer of Joyful Learning for TK-7th Grade Students

Camino Nuevo Charter Academy is excited to offer Summer @ CNCA for current CNCA students who are in TK-7th Grade.
Summer @ CNCA will be a FREE, in-person summer program happening Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The program begins on Monday June 27, 2022 and the last day will be Friday July 15, 2022.
Spaces are limited! Enrollment is NOT guaranteed. Learn more and if you are interested, begin the application process as soon as possible. 
In partnership with Teach for America and Think Together, Summer @ CNCA will include:

  • Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
  • Student Leadership Opportunities 
  • Snacks and Meals
ELIGIBILITY: CNCA Students who are currently in the following grades: TK, K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th (who will be 8th graders in the 2022-2023 school year). This particular summer program is not for current 8th graders who will be in 9th grade in the 2022-2023 school year. PROGRAM DATES: Monday June 27, 2022 – Friday July 15, 2022 
Note: The summer program will be closed on Monday, July 4th to observe our national holiday
LOCATION: Your Current CNCA campus*
(*Students from the Eisner campus will report to summer programming at the Castellanos campus)  
PROGRAM TIMES: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
DISMISSAL: During our summer program, families will have the option to pick up their child at the following times: 

  • 1st Dismissal 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM
  • 2nd Dismissal 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM

(Pick up times outside of these time frames can be arranged with the Think Together Site Coordinator at each campus)


The application is a three step process! You are not officially enrolled until you receive a confirmation.  

STEP ONE: Summer @ CNCA Intent to Apply Form 
(This form must be completed by Friday, May 20, 2022) 
STEP TWO: After submitting the interest form, you will receive communication from Think Together with instructions on how to finish the enrollment process 
STEP THREE: You will receive confirmation from a Think Together Site Coordinator to confirm that all of your information has been received and your student is enrolled and ready to start our summer program! 
If you would rather begin the application process in-person, STEP ONE is to contact the Think Together Site Coordinator at your campus to make an appointment to fill out the enrollment forms together.
