The Developmental Bilingual Program
With the majority of the study body comprised of English Language Learners, the Burlington campus offers a bilingual program for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. The Developmental Bilingual Program is a research-based program designed to build academic fluency in both Spanish and English. The curriculum is based on the California State Standards for academic achievement, and currently serves 345 students on the Burlington campus.
After School Program
In partnership with Think Together, Camino Nuevo offers an after-school program with both academic assistance and enrichment activities such as, homework assistance, athletics, and college prep counseling. Tutoring and project-based activities are also offered every school day on the Burlington Campus until 6 p.m.
Camino Nuevo Family Clinic
The Burlington campus features an on-site health clinic as part of a partnership with The Paja Medical Group. The Camino Nuevo Family Clinic offers bilingual medical and educational services, such as diabetes and hypertension treatment, immunizations, and cholesterol screenings. Additional services include assistance with managing chronic illness, STD education, and family planning.
