On February 29, 2024, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tony Thurmond, announced that 293 middle schools and high schools have been selected for the prestigious 2024 California Distinguished Schools Program.
We're excited to announce that our very own Dalzell Lance High School has been named a 2024 California Distinguished School. The California Distinguished Schools Program recognizes exceptional schools for closing the achievement gap and demonstrating exceptional student performance.
Schools were selected by analyzing data reported through the 2023 Dashboard, with a focus on demonstrating excellence and growth in academic achievement and ensuring a positive school climate.
