Dear Camino Nuevo Familia,
We are writing to inform you that due to the ongoing fires and the poor air quality surrounding our campuses, we are keeping campuses closed tomorrow, January 10, 2025. The safety of our students, families, and staff remains our highest priority.
We want to make sure that all families have access to the most up-to-date academic resources and information. We’ve created a central hub with links to important information, including information on school closures, remote learning support, and available resources for students and families. You can access the link here, where you will find detailed information and additional support. We encourage you to visit the page at your earliest convenience.
In light of the current challenges, we want to ensure that all families have access to essential resources. There are several local food distribution centers that are offering free meals and groceries to those in need. These centers are located throughout the community, and near our campuses. Here is a list of locations with Food Bank Distributions:

For those who are in need of emergency services, here are some important resources:
- To report a power outage: Call 1-800-DIAL-DWP (1-800-342-5397) or visit ladwp.com/outages.
- To report downed trees, mudslides, or road hazards: Use the MyLA311 app, visit myla311.lacity.org, or call 311.
We will keep a close watch on the situation and share updates as necessary. Any adjustments to our school closures will be communicated directly from Camino Nuevo.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility during this challenging time. Please take care of yourselves, your loved ones, and your neighbors.
Sincerely,
Adriana Abich
