At-Home Learning Challenge
Dear Students and Families,
We know the school closures caused by the fires have brought challenges for everyone. While prioritizing safety, we also want to keep students engaged in learning. To support this, we’ve created the At-Home Learning Challenge, encouraging daily learning routines to maintain academic progress.
How It Works
- Each day, students are asked to:
- Complete 30 minutes of iReady Literacy
- Complete 30 minutes of iReady Math
- Complete at least one additional activity from the challenge card (digital or non-digital).
Note for Parents:
- No Computer? If your child cannot access iReady, replace iReady time with non-digital activities from the provided list.
- For worksheets included in non-digital resources, students can view them on a phone or other screen and write their answers on a separate sheet of paper.
- Parents/guardians sign the Challenge Card daily to track completed activities.
- No printer? If you don’t have access to a printer, you can recreate the Challenge Card on a blank sheet of paper to track your child’s daily progress.
- Submitting the Card: Once schools reopen, submit the completed and signed Challenge Card (or recreated version) to your child’s teacher.
