The safety of our students, families, and staff is always our top priority. Now that the recent wildfires in Los Angeles have been contained, we encourage everyone to take this moment to focus on recovery and preparedness.
Here are a few steps you can take to stay ready for future emergencies:
- Prepare an emergency kit with supplies for all family members. Visit Ready.gov
for guidance on what to include.
- Create a family plan for staying in touch and identifying safe places to meet in case of evacuation.
- Stay power-ready by charging your devices, keeping portable power banks on hand, and storing extra batteries and flashlights.
